My Story

Every mortgage starts with a story. Here's mine.

Before I was a mortgage agent, I was a nurse. I spent years caring for people in their most vulnerable moments — learning to listen before acting, to see the whole person before the problem, and to communicate with clarity when everything felt uncertain. That training shapes everything I do in mortgages.

I didn't just leave nursing for a career change. I left it because I saw an opportunity to help people through another one of life's most stressful and emotionally loaded moments: buying or refinancing a home. The mortgage industry, frankly, wasn't doing enough of that. Too many people were being turned away without a real conversation, or pushed into products that weren't right for them.

I knew I could do it differently. So I did.

Today, I work with first-time buyers, people navigating separation or major life changes, self-employed entrepreneurs, and investors across the GTA. I'm not tied to one bank — I have access to 18+ lenders, which means I can actually shop for the best fit for each client, not just the most convenient option.

I was featured in Best Side magazine for my community work, and I'm a proud supporter of Halton Women's Place and other local causes. Community isn't something I talk about — it's something I show up for.

Why I do this

That conversation changes things. And when we get to the other side — to closing day — that's why I do this.

At every closing, I donate 10% of my commission to a charity chosen by my client. It's a commitment I made when I started — because this work is about more than mortgages.
